Integris Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our GI Hospitalists team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical consultation and routine patient care to patients with gastrointestinal issues.
- Initiate and complete detailed patient assessments to diagnose and treat actual or potential health problems.
- Order laboratory tests, radiological examinations, and other diagnostic procedures as necessary.
- Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and consultations based on patient needs.
- Perform routine procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and blood draws.
- Educate patients on prescribed treatments and medications.
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner license.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting and may involve exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals.
