United Vein & Vascular Centers is a leading healthcare innovator dedicated to providing state-of-the-art, minimally invasive vein and vascular care. We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiology equipment, including C-arm, to perform diagnostic imaging examinations for vascular procedures.
- Assist and perform special procedures using Fluoroscopy units, adhering to sterile technique to maintain a contamination-free work area.
- Address patient needs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain department supplies and participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on exams performed using C-arm and other modalities.
- Perform routine scheduling in the Vascular Lab Information System and assist physicians during procedures.
- Practice Radiation Safety Standards and demonstrate a commitment to UVVC's Core Values: Understanding, Nurturing, Ingenuity, Trust, Excellence, and Diversity.
- Completion of radiological technology training from an AMA-approved school.
- Current certification with the ARRT in Radiology is preferred.
- Must meet all continuing education requirements to maintain licensure.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience in a Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Peripheral Vascular Lab is preferred.
- Understanding of current HIPAA, State, and ACR Accreditation guidelines.
- Ability to utilize RIS and PACS systems to manage patient care.
