As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine each patient's unique needs and develop personalized therapy plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, focusing on speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing skills.
  • Communicate patient progress and concerns to supervisors and other healthcare team members.
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements.
  • Collaborate with patients' families and nursing staff to develop follow-through programs and ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology.
  • Minimum of six months experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
  • Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
