Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily information security risk and compliance initiatives for various clients.
  • Establish a systematic approach to align cybersecurity with business goals while managing risks and adhering to compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and Legal, to identify and implement security standards and best practices.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Conduct thorough analyses and provide scoping guidance to clients to ensure alignment with compliance controls.
  • Assist clients by completing security questionnaires from vendors and partners.
  • Perform comprehensive security assessments across hosts, networks, and applications.
  • Execute risk assessments and gap analyses based on compliance obligations and industry standards.
  • Implement NIST and CMMC frameworks for both internal and external clients.
  • Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSP) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) documentation.
  • Work closely with technical teams to address security controls protecting client information systems.
  • Oversee the creation of relevant policies and procedures in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage and deliver security awareness and education initiatives.
  • Monitor compliance and performance metrics, reporting findings effectively.
  • Evaluate and mitigate information security risks, contributing to the development of risk reduction strategies.
  • Prepare for audits and engage effectively with auditors to provide necessary documentation and address findings.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • CISSP or CISM certification is highly preferred, along with other relevant security certifications.
  • Over 10 years of experience in information security, risk management, and compliance.
  • At least 7 years of technical experience with Microsoft solutions.
  • Technical certifications such as MCSE or Azure are strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with NIST standards and other compliance frameworks is advantageous.
