Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated medical imaging specialist to join our team at Gwinnett Clinic, a leading provider of primary and specialty care physician services in metro Atlanta. As a medical imaging specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic evaluations using CT scanning equipment
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
  • Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during scans
  • Operate CT scanning equipment and adjust settings as necessary
  • Monitor patients during procedures and address any concerns or complications
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience with Siemens CT/CAT scanner (Somatom Sensation 64 eco Basic)
  • Valid certification as a CT Technologist
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care

Salary Information:

The estimated salary range for this position is $47.74 - $51.77 per hour, with an expected weekly schedule of 16-40 hours. Benefits include 401(k) matching, dental insurance, flexible schedule, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to Relocate:

  • Gwinnett Clinic requires relocation to Lawrenceville, GA 30046 before starting work.
