HSHS St. John's Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist I to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Under the direction of the radiologist, provide X-ray services to patients, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
- Closely follow physician's instructions, appropriately position patients, prepare and operate equipment, and accurately record the images requested.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- 1 year of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Current licensure as a Radiographer in the state of practice.
- ARRT certification and BLS certification.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform duties, including standing for long periods, lifting patients, and operating equipment, is also required.
