Position Overview:


The Guestroom Cleaning Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that all guest accommodations are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, while delivering exceptional service to enhance the guest experience.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms in accordance with established standards.
2. Prepare for cleaning by organizing guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens.
3. Remove waste and soiled linens from guest rooms and corridors.
4. Ensure public areas and storage closets are tidy and vacuumed.
5. Restock the housekeeping cart for efficient next-day operations.
6. Refill cleaning chemical containers as needed.
7. Report any missing items from rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
8. Notify the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager of any maintenance issues promptly.
9. Manage lost and found items according to company policy.
10. Strive to achieve overall guest satisfaction through attentive service.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.


Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently. Must be capable of standing for the duration of the shift.

Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and team members in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
