Job Opportunity

Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. Our clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to our patients, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide rehabilitative audiological services to patients, including administering and interpreting audiological tests, developing treatment plans, and establishing goals for each patient.
  • Calibrate equipment, prepare related reports, and maintain the audiological suite, materials, and supplies.
  • Communicate with patients and families, providing counseling and education as needed.
  • Provide case management services and make referrals to other social or health service agencies as necessary.
  • Log procedures and submit charges to the department secretary for billing.
  • Write evaluation reports and daily progress notes in a timely manner.
  • Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of audiology and provide in-service education to staff and the community.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring the department's quality assurance program.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Build strong relationships with patients and families, demonstrating excellent bedside manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with doctors and other medical professionals.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Communicate medical information clearly to patients.
  • Relate to patients of all ages.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, language, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prepare written patient evaluations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree required.
  • Active audiology license in Wyoming required or ability to obtain.
  • Board certification from the American Board of Audiology preferred.
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience preferred.
