MRI Technologist Supervisor

The MRI Technologist Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery and quality of imaging services in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner. This includes ensuring adequate staffing levels, supplies, and resources are available to perform exams and clinical services to meet clinical demands.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the delivery and quality of imaging services, including MRI, CT, and other modalities.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels, supplies, and resources are available to perform exams and clinical services.
- Interview, counsel, and complete performance evaluations for staff members.
- Train new staff members and ensure all registrations and certifications are current, on file, and up to date.
- Facilitate goal setting for staff working in the imaging sections and monitor goals, achievements, and ensure the outcome of the goals is reflected in the annual performance evaluations.
- Partner with management to develop a budget for the department, including providing feedback on new and replacement equipment and services needed for continued growth.
- Promote a culture of service excellence in the imaging sections by partnering with management to communicate service excellence and patient-centeredness expectations.
