We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of House Supervisor at our hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of patient care activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Coordination: Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Patient Care Coordination: Coordinate patient care activities, including admissions, transfers, and discharges, to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Staffing and Scheduling: Oversee staffing and scheduling processes to ensure adequate coverage and optimal resource allocation.
- Quality Improvement: Identify opportunities for quality improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or completion of BSN within 4 years of hire.
- License and Certification: Current RN license in state of practice or Compact license, BLS certification, ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire, FEMA training, and EMRe training within 12 months of hire.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years current RN clinical experience, including management of critical, complex patients, and leadership experience.
- MSN: Master of Science in Nursing.
- Additional Training: Additional ICS courses, PALS certification, and national certification in area of practice.
This role requires regular attendance and the ability to work nights and weekends as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively, work well in a team environment, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.
