The National Reconnaissance Office is seeking a highly skilled Budget Analyst to join our team. As a Budget Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and execution of the NRO's budget.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage the NRO's budget, including formulation of budgets to support plans, programs, and activities.
- Perform budget execution through development of program spend plans, creation of funding documents, and monitoring/analysis of contractor performance.
- Prepare multi-year program funding strategies through budget formulation, consistent with program cost estimates, in support of future budget requests.
- Effectively communicate analysis of issues, conduct research, and draft or coordinate recommendations to address budgetary challenges.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or accounting.
- Experience with the federal budget process, including budget execution and budget formulation.
- Experience using financial databases and systems, and spreadsheets to accomplish budget-related tasks.
