This Senior Registered Nurse Supervisor position offers an annual salary of $70,699.20 (Non-negotiable) paid bi-weekly.

Job Description

As a Senior Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will provide quality professional care to veteran residents, ensuring their health, safety, and security in accordance with established agency Standard Operating Procedures and Nurse Practice Act. You will be responsible for providing initial and ongoing assessment of the resident population, administering medications and treatments per MD order, and supervising nursing personnel on assigned shifts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Florida Statute 464 or eligible to practice nursing in accordance with Florida Administrative Code 64B9.
  • One (1) year of supervisory and/or nurse administrator experience.
  • Current CPR from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability and willingness to work a minimum of every other weekend, holidays, and during natural disasters as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Electronic Health Records.
  • Successful completion of due diligence process, to include a Level II Background and drug screen.

Benefits

The State of Florida offers an excellent Florida Retirement System package, deferred compensation plan, health, vision, dental, disability, and other supplemental insurance available at extremely low premium rates. Paid vacation and sick leave, nine (9) paid holidays, and a personal day are also provided.

Others

This position is eligible for overtime pay and participates in the Nursing Student Loan Forgiveness Program. The FDVA Nursing State Nursing Homes are designed employment sites for this program, offering loan repayments of up to $4,000 per year for a maximum of four years.
