Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for delivering critical healthcare services to individuals in a correctional environment, including those with long-term health conditions and disabilities. This position requires on-site engagement and involvement in the assessment and implementation of the Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver care to individuals with chronic health conditions.
  • Assess and implement the MAT program.
  • Oversee and manage the census within the infirmary.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for inmates.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience with chronic health conditions and/or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • Prior experience in healthcare settings within correctional facilities is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs is beneficial but not required.
