Job Summary: Perpetual Labor Sourcing is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our metalworking team, you will assist experienced sheet metal mechanics in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of sheet metal products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints to determine project requirements.
• Support the layout, measuring, and marking of sheet metal materials using precision tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with experienced metalworkers to fabricate and assemble sheet metal products, including ductwork, fittings, and architectural elements.
• Assist in the installation of sheet metal systems, such as HVAC ductwork and ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing sheet metal systems as needed.
• Handle and transport sheet metal materials, equipment, and tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize workplace accidents and hazards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and report any challenges or issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Must have or be willing to obtain certifications in scissor lift operation, fall protection, and trenching/excavation.
