Abode Energy Management is seeking a highly skilled Field Inspector to join our team. As a Field Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality delivery of residential energy assessment and weatherization services for the Mass Save program.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth inspections of projects undertaken for the Mass Save program, including field visits and reviews of photo-documentation of installations.
- Partner with Home Performance Contractors (HPCs), residential customers, and Abode office staff to ensure that work completed under the Mass Save program meets program standards and delivers a great customer experience.
- Travel to multiple homes throughout the state for inspections, providing real-time feedback and guidance to HPC field crews regarding project scope or implementation.
- Collect and enter data into the company's electronic forms for project tracking, analyzing recommended and installed measures for program eligibility and sound building science.
- Collaborate with Abode staff and participating contractors to address and improve work quality, communicating effectively with crews and homeowners.
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of residential building science and of Mass Save or similar programs.
- BPI Building Analyst Professional (BA-P) certification required, with HERS certification preferred.
- Previous experience servicing as a Crew Lead, Energy Specialist, or Inspector in the Mass Save program is ideal.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Google Apps and phone and tablet-based data collection.
- Collaborative team player with a positive can-do attitude, calm and even temperament, and ability to proactively manage competing demands and changing schedules.
