Job Description: Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to evaluate their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation.

  • Develops a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
  • Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
  • Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates, and modifies care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will be able to develop treatment programs with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. The successful Physical Therapist must also set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record patient conditions, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.

This travel Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package. Competitive Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per year (approximately $58-$72 per hour)

Salary may vary based on location, experience, and other factors.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with NPTE certification. A minimum of one year's experience as a Physical Therapist is required, along with current state licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist/PT and CPR certification.
