MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled travel Echo Technician to join their team in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary

This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare organization and utilize your expertise in echocardiography technology. As an Echo Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, performing 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

As an Echo Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing patients for examinations and performing echocardiography studies
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing preliminary interpretations of studies
  • Assisting supervising physicians with resident training and other tasks
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest echocardiography technologies and techniques
Requirements

To be considered for this contract position, you must have:

  • A successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology
  • A successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound
  • Interpretation skills to facilitate comprehensive examinations and accurate preliminary interpretations
  • A graduate degree from a cardiac echocardiography technology program
