Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in a long term care setting. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.
  • Assist with feeding, toileting, and transferring patients as needed.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Assist with delegated clerical duties, such as answering phones and relaying messages.
Requirements
  • Completion of an approved nurse aide training program and passing grade on state certification exam.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as needed.
