Laboratory Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team at Genesis Global Group. As a Laboratory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory testing procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology or chemistry, with experience in clinical laboratory settings. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including accessioning specimens, manual extraction, robotic extraction, RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and next-generation sequencing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accessioning tasks, including printing labels and attaching requisitions to specimens
• Manual and robotic extraction of DNA and RNA samples
• Perform PCR amplification using conventional and real-time methods
• Analyze data from PCR reactions and identify potential issues
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure accurate results

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field
• 9-month Clinical Laboratory Technician training
• Experience in clinical laboratory settings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
