Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ambulatory care setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on health-related topics and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State.
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
- ACLS certification preferred.
