Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Medical Professional, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition, and serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Implement and monitor patient care plans
* Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
* Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
* Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
* Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
Requirements:
* BLS and ACLS certification
* National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
* Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Strong technical skills
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Passionate about patient care
* Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Med/Surg experience
* Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
* Active unencumbered RN Tennessee state license
* One year of Epic experience
Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required:
* Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
* Participates in relevant continuing education programs
* Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
* Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
* A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital
* Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
