Job Summary

As a Polysomnographic Sleep Tech at Sentara Healthcare, you will work under the supervision of the Department Manager/Coordinator to perform and evaluate overnight polysomnogram testing procedures in accordance with laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct overnight polysomnogram testing procedures to diagnose and monitor sleep disorders
  • Evaluate test results and provide recommendations for further testing or treatment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with sleep disorders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sleep technology and laboratory procedures

Requirements

  • High School Grad or Equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Polysomnographic Tech licensure
  • RPSGT and Virginia Licensure- Polysomnographic Technologist

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Polysomnographic Tech
