Janitorial Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at The Council of Industry. As a Janitor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including floors, walls, windows, and equipment.
• Empty garbage bins and dispose of refuse appropriately.
• Use cleaning solutions, mops, auto scrubbers, and buffing machines to ensure our floors shine.
• Clean and mop floors, tables, sinks, drinking fountains, and fixtures in breakrooms and bathrooms.
• Ensure all windows are sparkling clean.
• Keep cleaning equipment in top condition, neat, and free of rust.
• Document tasks completed on Preventative Maintenance forms.
• Perform additional duties as deemed necessary by management.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record for travel between company facilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, full manual dexterity, reach in any direction, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and maintain flexibility for cleaning tasks.

Working Conditions:
