Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beauty Experience Manager to join our team at Ulta Beauty, Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading through our mission, vision, and values to develop a high-performing team that consistently delivers top-line sales growth in retail and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of stylists, estheticians, guest coordinators, Assistant Services Managers, Sales Managers, and boutique leads to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive company profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
  • Manage store scheduling, payroll budgets, and inventory levels to maximize productivity and achieve sales and payroll goals.
  • Address underperforming metrics related to services, boutiques, retail sales, services sales, loyalty, store visit, and audit results.
  • Support direct reports in developing and maintaining their clientele and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance.
  • Maintain prompt, regular attendance and hold store associates accountable to the Ulta Beauty attendance policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Cosmetology license and/or a cosmetology management license where required by state law.
  • 2-3+ years relevant, fast-paced retail management work experience or other relevant work experience.
  • Financial management: success with driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expense.
  • Cosmetology management: Advanced competency in services, including sales, guest experience, and product attachment.
  • Retail management: proven ability with monitoring inventory levels, achieving operational excellence, driving a service culture, and executing merchandise directives.
  • Leadership management: experience with attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, swiftly adapting to change and leading others through the change-curve.
Working Conditions

Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift. Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and twisting during shift. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs. during shift. Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift.

We offer a competitive salary of $34.00/hour, with opportunities for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
