We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our team at AMR, where we prioritize delivering exceptional medical care in emergency situations. This role offers an attractive salary of $7,500 as a sign-on bonus for full-time new hires.
About the RoleThis position requires a strong ability to work collaboratively with healthcare and public safety personnel, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The successful candidate will possess a valid Paramedic License and pass physical agility tests to perform necessary tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Utilize medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced medical care, including defibrillator use, EKG monitoring, oxygen administration, and CPR.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with dispatchers to receive and understand call data, customer feedback, and coordinate transportation destinations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the general condition of the ambulance unit, ensuring it remains clean and stocked for optimal call response.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care and billing activities to ensure seamless information sharing.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Current state Paramedic License and valid State Driver's License.
- Valid certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, BTLS, or PHTLS (where applicable or required by contract).
- Able to successfully pass Physical Agility Test.
