Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate APRN or PA to join our esteemed Neurology team at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will manage patients across the continuum, collaborating with pediatric neurologists, neuroimaging, neuro-oncology, and neuropathology specialists.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric neurosurgical patients.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Provide family-centered care by effectively communicating with patients' families, addressing their concerns, and involving them in the decision-making process.
  • Participate in medical rounds, case presentations, and educational activities to enhance team knowledge and clinical practice.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects to advance pediatric neurology practices.
Qualifications
  • Pediatric Primary or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, FNP or Physician Assistant certification and licensure in the state of Florida.
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Pediatric Acute or Primary Care Nursing, FNP or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current BLS and PALS.
  • Pediatric acute care experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in pediatric neurology or neurosurgery or a related field is preferred but not required.
