About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise the complete accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance.
  • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of daily accounting activities such as cash disbursements, invoicing, payroll, and inventory management.
  • Establish and uphold internal financial controls and procedures.

  • Prepare comprehensive business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
  • Perform audits to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations and collaborate with external auditors.
  • Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Support management in strategic decision-making to promote business growth and sustainability.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
  • Expertise in corporate accounting and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting and budgeting practices.
  • Proven auditing experience with a solid grasp of auditing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of economic and banking principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP).
  • In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
