About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fiber Superintendent to join our team at Graphic Packaging International, Inc. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the Stock Prep Department, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of 7 salaried direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure successful departmental operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, capital projects, and maintenance initiatives.
  • Conduct fiber production troubleshooting and analyze data to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve quality, operating efficiency, and productivity.
  • Participate in safety, lean-sigma, and other team activities to drive results consistent with company direction.
  • Provide coverage for Assistant Superintendent/Supervisor vacancies and participate in weekend production department rotation.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in paper making operations, with 5+ years as a paper machine supervisor.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP experience a plus.
  • Continuous Improvement Agility, Coachable, and strong leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
