Job Overview

As a vital member of our culinary team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established menus and portion guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workspaces, including dishwashing and sanitation tasks.
  • Brew beverages, manage beverage stations, and set up food service areas.
  • Deliver food to various locations as needed, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling.
  • Follow security protocols and guidelines at all times.
  • Receive and store incoming food supplies appropriately.
  • Observe assigned break schedules.
  • Collect and clean trays and assist in dishwashing duties as required.
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions and in-service programs.
  • Handle cash transactions if required for the role.
*Cashier responsibilities may apply based on position requirements.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uphold all company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Support the mission and objectives set forth by Whitsons Culinary Group.
  • Comply with food handling certification standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous food service experience is essential.

  • Proficiency in English to understand and execute job tasks.
  • Significant physical activity including lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures due to kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor; teamwork is essential.
  • Ability to lift between 30-50 pounds.
  • Basic reading and writing skills in English.
  • Must successfully pass background screening.
