Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, monitor, and deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with the physician's treatment plan and the interdisciplinary care strategy.
  • Provide updates on patient/client conditions to the relevant supervisor and team members.
  • Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments and implement procedures that require advanced knowledge and skills derived from psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences.
  • Coordinate care for all assigned patients/clients, identifying needs and discussing the full range of Interim HealthCare services to achieve desired outcomes, actively participating in case discussions, and offering insights to supervisors.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
  • May have access to personal health information (PHI) necessary for fulfilling job responsibilities, with access and disclosure guidelines defined by the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program that meets the educational and fieldwork standards set by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Successful completion of the national examination for OTR and state licensure is mandatory.
