Responsibilities
  • You will perform repairs efficiently, adhering to dealership policies and procedures.
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional services needed.
  • Provide accurate estimates of time required for additional repairs.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Service Technician experience is required.
  • FCA/Stellantis Certification is essential.
  • A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair, are necessary.
  • You should have a broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
  • Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment is crucial.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • A positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality, is vital.
  • You should enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively is necessary.
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications is essential.
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record are necessary.
