Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

At Ensign Therapy, we are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing an appropriate plan of care in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice standards.
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, adhering to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness, modifying services as needed and making referrals based on patient evaluation and outcomes.
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
  • Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, meeting regulatory and clinical requirements.
  • Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels
