Your duties will include sterilizing syringes, preparing patients for a scan, and processing image reports that indicate the presence of disease.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine is required. Certification in Nuclear Cardiology or Positron Emission Tomography (PET) is also necessary. Additionally, you must be certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
