About the Role

AESC Group is expanding its footprint in the United States with new manufacturing facilities, and we are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Operations Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes within our plant operations. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, develop process improvements, and support the continuous improvement culture within the organization.

  • KPI Management: Benchmarking and Continuous Improvement
  • Plant Layout Optimization: Evaluate potential layout changes, manage revisions to plant layout CAD files
  • Material Flow Analysis: Analyze conveyor capacity and location, analyze AGV capacities and quantities, optimize material flow from dock doors to warehouse to process areas, ensure adequate Kanban sizing in process areas, confirm buffer size for area to area and between process equipment, ensure safe movement for people and materials
  • Capacity Planning: Work with Supply Chain to develop production plan, optimize line/shift patterns to meet production demand and minimize labor cost, maintain capacity and headcount model for each plant, support Operations team in developing annual labor budget, continuous line balance evaluation and recommendation of improvements, cycle time monitoring with Maintenance Engineering to identify bottlenecks
