Loader Operator

Nosco is seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team at our Gurnee, IL location.

In this role, you will be responsible for effectively catching, inspecting, and loading lightweight printed sheets of paper on a high-speed folding machine.

You will work closely with our production team to ensure production objectives are met, and you will be expected to cross-train on all finishing assets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating available equipment to ensure production objectives are met
• Cross-training on all finishing assets
• Performing minor preventive maintenance and repairs while reporting any mechanical defects to the operator, manager, or technical lead
• Ensuring quality system procedures are always followed

Requirements for success in this role include:

• Good interpersonal skills to freely communicate with all production staff
• Good mechanical background
• Lift truck operating experience, at least one year
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods, and have manual dexterity for computer work
