We are seeking a talented Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our esteemed team at Ascension St. John Jane Phillips in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. As a key member of our Cardiology team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with medical diagnostic and treatment skills, coordinating discharge planning with case management, and recommending efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills, as well as coordinate discharge planning with case management.
- Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
- Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.
- Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
