About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality images of the body. This will involve preparing patients for scans, selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters, and implementing safety standards to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the body
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and answering questions
  • Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters to achieve optimal image quality
  • Implement safety standards to ensure the highest level of patient care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • ARRT(R)(MRI) certification
  • BLS or CPR certification
