Experienced Painter

The role involves ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of all painting-related tasks within the park. This includes preparing surfaces and applying various coatings such as paint, varnish, and wallpaper to enhance and protect both exterior and interior surfaces, fixtures, and structures.

• Conduct routine painting and wall covering tasks, coordinating with management to prioritize daily assignments.
• Inspect assigned areas and perform touch-ups on all structures, signage, and equipment as necessary.
• Operate vehicles, forklifts, pressure washers, and various painting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and applying new finishes, stains, and coatings.
• Refurbish wall surfaces using appropriate materials and techniques.
• Apply wood finishes by adequately preparing surfaces for treatment.
• Install wallpaper or fabric on walls as per project requirements.
• Maintain and operate high-pressure spray machines and other painting tools while adhering to safety protocols.
• Keep detailed records of materials used, including Volatile Organic Compounds, and submit completed work orders to supervisors.
• Engage with various stakeholders, including supervisors, coworkers, and contractors, to ensure smooth operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to execute assigned tasks effectively.
• Order necessary paint supplies and materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with safety guidelines and reporting any unsafe conditions.
• Be available for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs.
• Adhere to company attendance policies and conduct standards.
• Other related duties may be assigned as required.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work at heights up to 50 feet and use a stepladder up to 40 feet.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must pass a mandatory drug test and background check as per company policy.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety practices is essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and prepare detailed layouts based on sketches and directions.
• Preferred experience in graphic arts or sign painting.
• Trade license or equivalent certification is preferred.
