We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Great Wolf Lodge. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area.
Key Responsibilities- Serve customers a wide range of beverages, including beer, wine, cocktails, and juices.
- Prepare garnishes and mixes drinks according to recipes.
- Assess customer needs and preferences, making recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to high standards of presentation and service.
- Ensure a safe and secure bar environment by enforcing standards and procedures for alcohol consumption.
- Monitor customers' alcohol consumption, refusing service and/or calling for alternate transportation as necessary.
- Manage inventory, ordering and re-stocking supplies as needed.
- Enhance skills and knowledge through educational opportunities and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Perform cash-handling functions, including point-of-sale systems and daily reporting.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Previous bartending experience and/or training.
- Knowledge of sanitation-related issues and precautions necessary for a clean beverage preparation environment.
- Professional image that inspires trust and confidence.
- Enthusiastic and positive energy.
- Multi-tasking ability.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Able to bend, stretch, and twist.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
