We are in search of a Senior Geotechnical/Tunnel Engineer. This role encompasses overseeing geotechnical design for tunnels and subterranean structures, analyzing ground conditions, formulating design criteria, and much more.

Your Contributions:
  • Oversee geotechnical design for tunnels and underground facilities
  • Lead the design of temporary and initial support systems for soil and rock tunnels
  • Implement geotechnical best practices and devise design methodologies
  • Analyze ground conditions and establish design parameters
  • Collaborate with various disciplines and stakeholders
  • Provide geotechnical assistance throughout the construction phase
  • Guide and mentor junior engineering staff
About You:
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Tunnel Engineering
  • 7-10 years of pertinent experience in geotechnical design
  • New York Professional Engineer (PE) registration, with a willingness to obtain licensure in additional states
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Experience in the design of tunnels and underground structures
  • Background in geotechnical project planning and execution
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Geotechnical or Tunnel Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical design

Expected Salary: $107,000 - $150,000
