Key Responsibilities:

The Controller will manage the firm's financial activities, including:

  • Supervising the monthly invoicing process for clients.
  • Overseeing all accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with banking regulations and trust account management.
  • Preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements.
  • Monitoring expenses and managing cash flow.
  • Forecasting and budgeting for revenue and expenditures.
  • Coordinating audits and reviews with external CPA firms.
  • Maintaining the accuracy of the firm's financial records.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in financial management.
  • Prior experience in a law firm is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ProLaw or similar legal billing systems.
  • Proficient in cloud-based accounting and billing software.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

Compensation: The annual salary ranges from $145,000 to $185,000, complemented by a robust benefits package.
