Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Incredible Health in Charlottesville, VA. As a critical care nurse specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the CVICU setting. Our hospital is a Level 1 trauma center and academic medical center, offering opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the management of critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular disease, respiratory failure, and neurological disorders.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the care process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia.
  • Prior experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a CVICU setting.
