Compensation Overview:

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $153,900. Compensation is determined by various factors including market conditions, education, work experience, and certifications.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role within the engineering team that underpins our product offerings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and analyzing application architecture.
  • Exhibiting strong problem-solving skills to assist in addressing operational challenges.
  • Demonstrating your expertise by resolving engineering issues independently.
  • Engaging in vendor management to ensure quality and functional accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance of critical building systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire safety, and digital systems.
  • Manage lifecycle and modernization projects from inception to completion, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and industry best practices in all data center operations.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures and policies governing data center activities.
  • Act as an escalation contact for critical incidents as part of an on-call rotation.
  • Propose enhancements to improve safety, efficiency, and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in critical MEP system operations and maintenance.
  • Commitment to ongoing technical education and staying current with evolving technologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong understanding of best practices, standards, and policies relevant to the role.
  • Proficiency in core development platforms within your area of expertise.
  • Ability to foster a strong team commitment to corporate priorities.

This position requires on-site reporting and job performance at a Target HQ location.
