We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at IFS Coatings, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our powder coatings manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate production activities to ensure compliance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, quality metrics, and downtime, taking proactive measures to meet or exceed targets.
  • Lead daily Gemba walks to observe operations firsthand, identify inefficiencies, and collaborate with teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Coach and mentor production team members to foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience in a process-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Powder coatings experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of or ability to learn and implement 5s and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of powder coatings manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
