Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the Neonatal ICU, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve their condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • RRT licensure upon submission.
  • 2 years of experience in Neonatal ICU, plus mid-large hospital experience.
  • NRP and PALS certification required.
  • No local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
Work Schedule

12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, one summer and one winter holiday required. 36-hour call-off permitted for low census.
