MRI Technologist

Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Milwaukee, WI. This role features 8-hour day shifts, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI Technologist to advance their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures to diagnose and evaluate medical conditions.
• Prepare MRI exam rooms, obtain informed consent, and gather accurate clinical history.
• Review patient history and determine appropriate MRI protocols.
• Explain examination methods, position patients, and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
• Ensure the quality of MRI images and coordinate the preparation of images/exams for physician review.
• Document and communicate patient-related information thoroughly and accurately.
• Monitor MRI equipment performance, report issues, and perform necessary maintenance.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

• ARRT certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting.
• Valid Kansas state license in MRI Technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Ability to work 10-hour night shifts.
• Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols.
• Excellent technical skills in operating MRI equipment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work well under pressure.
• Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism.
• Ability to travel to and from the workplace.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
