Key Responsibilities- Diagnosis and Treatment: Evaluate patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders and develop treatment plans to address their needs.
- Clinical Services: Provide high-quality clinical services to patients, including psychotherapy, medication management, and crisis intervention.
- Medical Protocols: Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate and facility policies.
- Medical Information: Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and provide medical recommendations.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Education: Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- Experience: One or more years post-graduate degree practice preferred.
- Licensure: Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
- Certifications: Board certification in psychiatry and current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions.
