Position: Junior Billing Coordinator
Salary: $16-18/hr.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 1st shift (start time between 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM)
Location: Onsite
Duration: Long-term Temporary (9-12 months), with potential for contract to hire


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant experience (data entry, billing, etc.)
  • Open to recent high school graduates
  • Basic proficiency in Excel preferred

Role Summary

The Junior Billing Coordinator is an entry-level position that provides support to the billing department.

This role involves processing manual billings, maintaining customer documentation for billing, and performing accounting tasks for a designated group of clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the billing team
  • Perform clerical tasks, including filing and completing templates
  • Assist the billing team with additional workload and coverage as needed
  • Input manual billings and credits into the company’s mainframe system or Oracle Receivables
  • Ensure timely and accurate customer billing and cash application
  • Prepare and distribute customer statements and supporting documentation for weekly billings and credits
  • Conduct research to gather requested customer documentation
  • Collaborate with other departments to verify billing accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain a weekly cash application tracking sheet
  • Support cash application and credit functions as required
  • Assist IT by providing analysis and testing for any issues
  • Document all billing procedures and recommend process improvements as directed by management
