About the Role

The Development Manager (Utility-Scale) will be responsible for driving project development and value creation, owning the execution of the project development strategy, and directing market-wide activities. This role will also involve leading and/or managing due diligence on projects, sites, and counter-parties, analyzing and interpreting regulations, policy changes, and program economics, and guiding a small team to enable regional success and solve project-specific challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for project success by driving project development and value creation
• Own the execution of the project development strategy in the market
• Direct market-wide activities, emphasizing budget management and project profitability
• Lead and/or manage due diligence on projects, sites, and counter-parties for acquisition projects
• Analyze and interpret regulations, policy changes, program economics, input prices, and other data by market to provide input to the company's business plan and development strategy
• Help guide a small team to enable regional success and solve project-specific challenges

Requirements

The Development Manager (Utility-Scale) will have 2-4 years of experience in project development with emphasis on utility scale wind, experience with at least 2 technologies, experience in early stage development of wind projects, and a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, environment, or a related field.

What's on Offer

The Development Manager (Utility-Scale) will be eligible for a base salary of $120,000 - $150,000, annual bonuses, comprehensive benefits packages, and the ability to work on a hybrid schedule from the San Francisco office.
