Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform minor bodywork and surface preparation for paint
  • Remove and install parts as necessary
  • Precisely match colors and mix paints using the BASF/PPG paint system
  • Formulate refinish coatings, including primers, base coats, and clear coats
  • Identify and correct paint imperfections
  • Ensure quality and efficiency in repairs
  • Communicate effectively with production and management teams
  • Operate various equipment, including sanders, sanding blocks, spray guns, and paint mixers

Requirements:
  • 2-5+ years of collision repair and refinish experience
  • Ability to complete all steps in the refinishing process
  • High attention to quality work
  • High production capability
  • State Certification and ICAR or ASE Certifications (preferred)
Work Environment:

The physical demands of this position include:

  • Ability to withstand environmental conditions of an auto body shop
  • Ability to sit, stand, squat, and kneel for long periods
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs+ repeatedly
